Terms of Service

Starter template — please review. This is a plain-language starting point for Ollie's terms, not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a qualified Australian legal advisor and fill in the [bracketed] details before relying on it. Ozari Collective's ABN, refund specifics and liability wording should be confirmed for your situation.

Ollie is a direct café-ordering platform operated by Ozari Collective ([ABN ___]), based in Hurstville, NSW, Australia ("Ozari", "we", "us"). These terms govern use of the Ollie platform at ollie.ozari.com.au, both by cafés that take orders through it and by customers who place those orders.

1. Acceptance

By using Ollie — as a café operator signing in to the dashboard, or as a customer placing an order — you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. What Ollie is

Ollie gives each café an online presence and a pickup-ordering page, plus a dashboard to manage its menu, page and incoming orders. Ollie is the technology that connects a customer's order to the café. The café — not Ozari — is the seller of all food and drink and is responsible for preparing and providing each order.

3. Orders and payment

Orders placed through Ollie are for pickup from the café. Unless a café has enabled online prepayment, orders are pay-at-pickup — the customer pays the café directly at the counter on collection. Prices, availability and pickup times are set by the café and may change. The café is responsible for the accuracy of its menu, prices and any allergen or dietary information.

4. Cancellations and refunds

A café may decline or cancel an order (for example, if an item is unavailable or it can't be fulfilled in time); where an email was provided, the customer is notified. For pay-at-pickup orders there is generally nothing to refund because payment happens on collection. Where online prepayment is used, refunds are handled by the café under its own refund policy and applicable Australian Consumer Law. Customers with an issue about an order should contact the café directly. [Confirm each café's cancellation/refund policy.]

5. Café operators' responsibilities

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Ollie to break the law, infringe others' rights, upload harmful or misleading content, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service, or place fraudulent or spam orders. We may suspend access that breaches these terms.

7. Content and intellectual property

Cafés retain ownership of the content they publish (menu, photos, descriptions) and grant Ozari the licence needed to host and display it as part of the service. The Ollie platform, brand and software remain owned by Ozari.

8. Availability

We aim to keep Ollie available and reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may update or change features over time.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to that, Ozari isn't liable for the food and drink sold by cafés, and our liability for the platform is limited to the extent permitted by law. [Confirm liability and consumer-law wording with your legal advisor.]

10. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms: hello@ozari.com.au, Ozari Collective, Hurstville NSW, Australia. [Confirm the contact address.]
